Election Administration Systems Modernization Consultant

AlphaGov is engaging an Election Administration Systems Modernization Consultant for current state work. A state board of elections is modernizing its voter registration and election administration systems.
We confirm scope, schedule, and fee with you before any engagement begins.
What you'll do
- Assess voter registration, list maintenance, and election management workflows
- Define requirements for statewide voter registration system modernization
- Advise on HAVA, NVRA, and security requirements and integrations (DMV, ERIC, vital records)
- Support vendor evaluation, implementation planning, and testing
- Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming

Requirements
Required
- At least 5 years of professional experience with election administration or statewide voter registration systems
- Knowledge of HAVA and NVRA requirements
- Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant
Nice to have
- Election security / CISA experience
- Former state or county election official
- PMP
