The Language Doctors is a premier provider of professional language services, specializing in the medical and healthcare sectors. With a global presence and a commitment to excellence, we bridge communication gaps to enhance patient care and advance medical knowledge worldwide. We offer flexible opportunities, allowing you to choose between full-time positions and long-term collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Translate from Source languages (Japanese/Korean/German/Italian/Spanish or any other) into English or vice versa, using the appropriate medical vocabulary, while maintaining the source material's tone and style.
· Adhering to our Style Guide while maintaining terminology consistency and data accuracy.
What We’re Looking For:
· Experience: 5+ years of experience in medical translations, e.g., patient records and medical reports.
· Skills: Broad medical vocabulary and proficiency in utilizing linguistic assets.
· Language Efficiency: Native and/or near-native fluency in the source language and English.
· Key Traits: Ability to work under deadlines and deliver on time.
· Technical Skills: SDL Trados experience is a must.
