Position: Remote Telepharmacist

Lehrer Family Chiropractic is a leading healthcare provider located in Melville, New York. Our practice is dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized care to our patients. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Telepharmacist to join our team on a part-time, remote basis.
Position Overview:
As a Remote Telepharmacist, you will be responsible for providing medication management and counseling services to our patients via telephone. You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care and treatment. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct medication reviews and provide counseling to patients over the phone
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop treatment plans and monitor patient progress
- Verify prescriptions and ensure accuracy and safety of medications
- Educate patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Current and active pharmacist license in good standing
- At least 2 years of experience as a pharmacist, preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical records
- Flexible and adaptable to changing work demands
Contract Details:
