Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical focal point for the development team.
- Drive architecture and development across microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems.
- Ensure architectural alignment from design through production.
- Lead code reviews and promote clean code, automated testing, and engineering best practices.
- Manage technical debt and ensure performance, security, resilience, and scalability.
- Support active-active architectures, data consistency, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Maintain technical documentation and mentor engineers.
Requirements:
- Strong Java expertise and solid experience with Spring Boot; Spring Cloud is a plus.
- Proven experience designing cloud-native, distributed, microservices-based architectures.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging technologies such as Kafka, Pulsar, or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with containers, orchestration, and microservices design patterns.
- Knowledge of geo-distributed systems, high availability, fault tolerance, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of API security, OAuth2/OIDC, and secrets management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong technical leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
