On-Camera Host for TikTok Videos (Contract)
We’re expanding our short-form video presence across TikTok and other platforms, and we’re looking for **confident, engaging on-camera hosts** to bring our educational content to life. If you love being on camera, can explain things clearly, and connect naturally with an audience, this role is for you. You’ll record short, informative, and relatable videos designed to help learners make smarter education decisions. This is a remote, contract role with flexible scheduling. All work is paid per video.
What You’ll Do
- Record ~1-minute short-form videos (TikTok/Reels/Shorts style) that explain educational tips, walk through practice problems, or provide career information.
- Deliver practice problems and/or talking points naturally and authentically (no editing required)
- Present with energy, clarity, and personality to keep viewers engaged.
- Demonstrate educational concepts using a dry-erase board or written solutions (dry-erase board and printer are required).
Your job: bring the content to life with your on-screen presence and confidence.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of on-camera experience (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or similar).
- Clear, confident, and friendly on-screen delivery.
- Ability to make educational or informational content feel fast-paced and engaging.
- Access to a smartphone or camera, microphone, and good lighting for recording.
- Comfort with visual teaching methods, such as writing and solving problems on a dry-erase board or using pen-and-paper demonstrations, with clear and readable handwriting.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience creating content for adult or nontraditional learners.
- A background in education, advising, or communication.
- Familiarity with short-form content pacing, hooks, and trends.
- Experience using visual aids in your content with clear, legible handwriting.
How to Apply
- Submit your application with your resume and a link to a sample video.
- Provide a link to asample video (max 2 minutes). The video should feature you on camera presenting this short script and displaying the mathematical problem and solution on a dry-erase board or a piece of paper (you don't have to write as you speak - it can be pre-written - but it needs to be in your own handwriting).

We’ll be evaluating:
- Your on-screen confidence and clarity
- Audio and video quality
- Authenticity and connection with the viewer
Applications without this sample video will not be considered.
