Why an Internship with the Hilb Group?
An internship with the Hilb Group offers students the opportunity to explore various career paths within a growing insurance brokerage. As a rapidly expanding organization, we provide hands-on learning experiences and exposure to real-world projects that support both personal and professional development.
Interns will work closely with experienced team members, gain insights into our business operations, and contribute to meaningful marketing and sales initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to travel to our corporate office in Richmond, VA, where you will connect with fellow interns, network with company leaders, and participate in a volunteer event. This internship may lead to full-time employment opportunities upon graduation. We're excited to help you grow with us!
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Marketing and Sales Enablement Specialist on day-to-day initiatives.
- Learn and support Hilb Group's marketing and sales strategies.
- Assist with projects and tasks related to social media and digital marketing initiatives.
- Develop a foundational understanding of the insurance industry and agency operations.
- Collaborate and network with associates across the organization to support marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.Preferred fields of study include Business Management, Marketing, Communications, or related disciplines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn about the insurance industry and support marketing initiatives.
