Business Operations & AI Transformation Lead
Own the changes that make a growing healthcare business run better—from identifying workflow bottlenecks to implementing AI-enabled solutions and helping teams adopt them.
Join a rapidly growing healthcare technology company transforming how health plans engage members and deliver essential healthcare services. In this role, you’ll work across operations, clinical services, scheduling, provider management, finance, and customer success to understand how work gets done, uncover inefficiencies, and implement smarter ways of operating.
This is not a traditional project management or strategy role. You’ll be expected to ask sharp questions, map real workflows, identify what is slowing teams down, and take ownership of practical improvements using data, automation, AI tools, and strong business judgment.
Candidates based in Latin America and the Philippines are welcome to apply.
Role Details
- Location: Remote, Latin America or the Philippines
- Compensation: $3,500–$5,000 USD per month, with flexibility for the right candidate
- Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience
- English proficiency: C1-level English required
What You’ll Do
- Partner with department leaders and frontline teams to understand existing workflows, operational challenges, and business priorities.
- Map how work actually gets done, identify bottlenecks, and redesign processes to improve productivity, accuracy, speed, and outcomes.
- Identify practical opportunities to use AI, automation, low-code tools, workflow software, and modern productivity platforms across business operations.
- Prototype lightweight solutions independently using AI-assisted development tools, low-code platforms, spreadsheets, dashboards, and workflow automation software.
- Partner with engineering, data, and technology teams on more sophisticated solutions when needed.
- Analyze operational data to uncover performance gaps, define KPIs, and quantify the impact of process improvements.
- Build practical dashboards, reporting tools, performance scorecards, lightweight documentation, operating procedures, and training materials.
- Own improvement initiatives from discovery through implementation, adoption, measurement, and ongoing optimization.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in business operations, management consulting, business analytics, operational excellence, or technology-driven process improvement.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
- Experience analyzing, redesigning, and optimizing business processes.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar technologies.
- Comfort with spreadsheets, data analysis, dashboards, and modern productivity and automation tools.
- Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar business processes and identify meaningful improvement opportunities.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with department leaders and frontline employees.
- High ownership, resourcefulness, intellectual curiosity, and a bias toward execution.
Preferred, But Not Required
- Experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, or operationally intensive service businesses.
- Background in management consulting, high-growth startups, or business transformation.
- Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Zapier, Make, n8n, Claude Code, or similar tools.
- Experience building lightweight internal tools or implementing workflow automation.
Examples of Projects You Might Own
- Redesign appointment scheduling workflows to improve member engagement and visit completion rates.
- Improve call center productivity through AI-assisted workflows and automation.
- Analyze provider utilization and build processes that increase completed visits per clinician.
- Automate manual reporting, reconciliation, or administrative processes.
- Build operational dashboards that surface bottlenecks and help managers make faster decisions.
- Streamline customer onboarding, internal handoffs, and cross-departmental workflows.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 90 days, you will have developed a strong understanding of several core business functions, identified and prioritized a pipeline of high-impact improvement opportunities, independently implemented measurable process improvements, collaborated with technical teams on at least one meaningful AI-enabled or automated workflow, and established clear metrics showing improvements in efficiency, accuracy, speed, or cost.
Success is measured by real-world business impact — not the number of analyses, presentations, or recommendations produced.
At Urrly, fairness matters. We use AI to review every application against the same clear requirements for the role. Candidates are evaluated only on job-related factors such as skills, certifications, and experience, not personal attributes.
