Job Description As a robotics engineering intern you will be responsible for researching, developing, and testing robotics components, systems and simulations. On a day to day basis you will be working with technologies such as ROS2, Isaac Sim, motion planning, computer vision, and other related technologies. This is a remote role, and you will be collaborating with a highly skilled and experienced team of engineers and developers. We are looking for someone driven by a passion for developing robotic systems, a demonstrated track record of methodic development, and looking to work in a dynamic environment. This position also comes with a strong potential of conversion to a full-time role. ‍ Work Location: The position is fully remote (within India) ‍ What you'll work on: Assist in building ROS2-based systems for robotic arms Develop and test motion planning, manipulation, and control modules Work with simulation environments such as Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, or Gazebo Write clean C++ and Python code for robotics applications Debug issues related to transforms, kinematics, planning, simulation, and deployment Validate features through testing, simulation, and review Contribute to internal motion planning and simulation tooling Work with senior engineers on client and internal robotics projects ‍ What we're looking for: Technical Final-year undergraduate student, fresh graduate, postgraduate, or engineer with less than 1 year of experience Strong C++ and Python fundamentals Hands-on ROS2 experience Good grasp of motion planning, controls, kinematics, and transforms, especially for manipulators Experience with simulation tools such as Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, or Gazebo Comfortable working in Linux and Dockerized environments Prior robotics project experience involving real hardware or realistic simulation is strongly preferred ‍ What we're looking for: Personal High ownership for assigned tasks Strong problem-solving ability Clear communication in a remote setup Willingness to learn quickly and work through technical ambiguity Ability to take feedback and improve code quality Interest in building production-grade robotics software ‍ Perks: Direct exposure to real-world robotics deployments Mentorship from experienced robotics engineers Opportunity to work on robotic arms, simulation, motion planning, and perception-integrated manipulation Ownership of meaningful technical tasks, not toy projects Remote flexibility with high responsibility Opportunity to convert into a full-time role based on performance ‍ How to apply: If this opportunity interests you, send in your application to jobs[at]blackcoffeerobotics[dot]com .
