Hello, our name is Customertimes, but you can call us CT. We are a global digital engineering, product development, and technology consulting company. Headquartered in New York, we have a team of 1000+ experts working across 65+ countries.
Role summary:
You own the technical vision of the platform. You define how the system is structured, secured, and connected to other systems, and you make sure the team builds it consistently and sustainably.
Location: India (Remote)
How you'll make an impact:
- Define and maintain the end-to-end architecture (frontend, backend, data, infrastructure) and document key decisions (ADRs);
- Own the security architecture: authentication/authorization, data protection, secrets management, threat modeling;
- Design and govern integrations with internal and third-party systems (APIs, GraphQL schemas, event/data flows, Snowflake pipelines);
- Set technical standards, coding guidelines, and review practices across the team;
- Evaluate technologies and make build-vs-buy and trade-off decisions (scalability, cost, performance, maintainability);
- Partner with product and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions;
- Mentor engineers and unblock complex technical problems;
- Work with DevOps on environments, cloud topology, and compliance requirements.
What makes you a great fit:
- 8+ years in software engineering, 3+ years in an architect or tech-lead role;
- Proven experience designing modern web platforms (SPA/PWA, GraphQL APIs, cloud-native systems);
- Strong knowledge of application and cloud security (OWASP, OAuth2/OIDC, encryption, least privilege);
- Experience with API/integration design and data platforms (Snowflake or similar warehouses);
- Solid understanding of Node.js/TypeScript ecosystems and React frontends;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences.
