Position: Gravitation, Cosmology and Astrophysics Physicist (PhD)
Type:Contract
Compensation:$80–$110/hour
Location:Remote
Duration:8 to 10 weeks
Commitment:10 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI model training and improve model outputs in research-level physics challenges.
- Develop complex physics problems and solutions in your subfield for AI model evaluation.
- Review completed work and provide structured feedback to enhance training data quality.
- Collaborate with AI research teams to ensure precision and rigor in model reasoning.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- PhD in gravitation, cosmology, astroparticle physics, or a closely related field.
- Published work on specific phenomena such as torsion, Nieh-Yan, or Chern-Simons terms.
- Verifiable publication record with arXiv IDs or DOIs.
- Proficiency in LaTeX, Python, SymPy, and Jupyter.
- English at B2 or above, including written reasoning.
Preferred
· Familiarity with an agentic coding extension in VS Code.
