The Role

We are hiring students into our Consultant Development Program (CDP) as Technology Consulting Interns – a role specifically designed for Bachelor's and Master's students in their final year of studies.

In this customer-facing position, you’ll work directly with pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies to implement Veeva’s technology and drive their business forward. Unlike traditional internship roles, you will work hands-on to design, configure, and deliver tangible technology solutions that customers use every day. We also have partnerships with local universities which support internships requirements and academic credits.

This program will build the core consulting and technical expertise you need for long-term career success, offering a seamless transition into a full-time Associate Consultant position upon graduation with no duplicate hiring needed.

• Commitment: 6–12 months for at least 20 hours per week during core business hours

Work Authorization: Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the European Union. Veeva does not provide sponsorship for employment visa status for this employment position.

Work Environment: Veeva is a Work Anywhere company. You can choose to work in an office or remotely from home on any given day of the week. Associate Consultants must live within a maximum commuting distance of 45 minutes to 1 hour from Veeva’s Budapest office and typically go to the office two to three days per week.

What You'll Do

• Work directly with customers to innovate with our technology and improve their business operations

• Be hands-on and become the expert on Veeva’s technology – configure and tailor our software under the continuous guidance and mentorship of experienced architects and project leads to solve our customers’ unique business challenges

• Partner with project teams and customers through problem-solving, solution design, workshops, project management, validation, integration, migration, and training — receiving full support and onboarding for every responsibility

REQUIREMENTS | We are looking for students who:

• Thrive in a challenging, intense environment that rewards initiative and rapid learning

• Desire to be hands-on with technology and familiarity with AI is a plus

• Active student status at a Hungarian university pursuing a Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in any field and in the final year of your studies

• History of strong and consistent academic performance

• Ability to commit to at least 20h/week during core business hours

• Fluent in English

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong critical thinking skills with an analytical mindset

• High work ethic and team first mindset

• High integrity and honesty. Veeva is a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC) and a “do the right thing” company and we expect that from all employees

THE PROCESS | Our process is different from most. It is designed to be fast, efficient and respectful. Here are the steps:

• You submit your resume, short cover letter of questions, and take a personality test

• Within one week we will notify you via email if we would like to go to the next step or not

• The next step is a 90-minute interview followed by a case exercise. You will have three days to prepare for the case exercise

• Within one week after this step, we will give you an offer or let you know that we do not wish to move forward

• You will have two weeks to accept our offer or not. If you accept, we will hold a spot for you and expect you to show up on your start date. Accepting an offer and continuing to interview would be an ethical violation in our view

• Good performance in the intern program allows for transiiton into our CDP program with fulltime employment

Compensation

• Starting Salary: Hourly rate 2,250 - 3,500 HUF
