Position: Performance Engineer (C++, Python, Rust)
Type:Contract
Compensation:$70–$110/hour
Location:Remote
Commitment:40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Guide research and engineering teams to improve AI model performance in systems-level optimization.
- Design challenging tasks across specializations and write accurate solutions to performance engineering problems.
- Evaluate performance engineering tasks and provide clear, written technical feedback.
- Develop guidelines and rubrics to assess systems design quality across AI workloads.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in training data.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while enhancing AI model training.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 2+ years of experience in performance engineering or low-level optimization.
- Expertise in C++, Python, or Rust with familiarity in the others.
- Proven track record of performance improvements on production systems.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to engage for 40 hours/week during weekdays.
