In this role, you will help drive operational excellence across a global vendor network, ensuring services are delivered to agreed standards and supporting successful trial delivery.

Working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners, you will lead vendor performance oversight, risk management activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your ability to build strong relationships, resolve challenges, and promote collaboration will directly contribute to quality outcomes across the clinical trial lifecycle.

You will also help foster a strong one-team culture with vendors and stakeholders, creating an environment focused on accountability, partnership, and continuous improvement.

Where You'll Work

This is a remoterole open to candidates based in Europe/LATAM. You will collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors supporting clinical trial activities.
  • Implement and support Worldwide’s vendor governance strategy, monitoring compliance, effectiveness, and performance outcomes.
  • Measure and evaluate vendor performance through scorecards, surveys, KPIs, and other performance management tools.
  • Partner with study teams to resolve vendor performance issues and support successful study delivery.
  • Lead the oversight of vendor-related quality incidents, including the implementation and follow-up of CAPA plans.
  • Develop and report on vendor performance trends, risks, and improvement opportunities across key service categories.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with core and critical vendors to enhance quality, collaboration, and operational excellence.
  • Monitor outsourced service risks and oversee the implementation of vendor risk mitigation plans.
  • Represent the Vendor Management function during sponsor qualification audits and support vendor assessment and qualification activities.

What You'll Bring

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of vendor management experience; experience within the pharmaceutical or CRO industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience managing vendor performance programmes, KPIs, scorecards, and improvement plans.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at both operational and executive levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across global teams.
  • Experience with TrackWise, Salesforce, Sciforma, or similar systems is advantageous, along with strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work accurately under pressure, and meet challenging deadlines.

We love knowing that someone is going to have a better life because of the work we do.
