  • Identify missing photographs, incomplete documentation, installation deficiencies, and potential compliance issues.
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to field technicians while they are on-site.
  • Verify that identified deficiencies have been appropriately addressed before closing the review.
  • Maintain timely review turnaround to minimize field delays.

Technical Quality & Compliance

  • Review residential solar PV installation components, including inverters, disconnects, electrical panels, conduit, labeling, grounding, and related equipment.
  • Identify potential discrepancies between approved plans and installed equipment.
  • Apply working knowledge of NEC requirements, AHJ standards, and company installation procedures.
  • Recognize technical issues requiring additional review by qualified electrical or operational personnel.
  • Document recurring installation or documentation deficiencies.

Field Communication & Coordination

  • Communicate directly with field technicians regarding required photographs, corrections, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with Inspection Scheduling, Permitting, ESC, Installation, and other operational departments.
  • Escalate unresolved technical issues, inspection risks, and project delays to the appropriate leadership.
  • Provide accurate status updates and maintain clear documentation of outstanding items.
  • Support timely resolution of issues that could affect inspection readiness.

Documentation & Process Improvement

  • Follow established review procedures and documentation standards.
  • Identify recurring deficiencies and recommend improvements to field documentation and inspection readiness.
  • Support consistency and accountability across inspection review processes.
