### **ABOUT THE ROLE**

You’re a person with a knack for solving some of the most pressing technology challenges in SaaS application development while levelling up the team of engineers around you, and you’re eager to help our customers achieve the best version of themselves.

### **WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON:**

- **Build & Ship End-to-End Features:** Design, develop, and maintain full stack features—from RESTful APIs and backend services to responsive, user-friendly frontend components—using **Python/Django** and **TypeScript/React**.

- **Develop Scalable Backend Services:** Build and evolve backend systems that handle business logic, data storage, and integrations, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.

- **Create High-Quality Frontend Experiences:** Implement reusable, accessible, and performant UI components in React. Collaborate with product and design to deliver intuitive user experiences.

- **Design & Optimize Database Schemas:** Contribute to the design of our database models and write efficient, secure queries. You will work to ensure the performance and integrity of our data layer.

- **Champion Code Quality:** Ensure you and other team members are contributing clean, efficient, testable, and reusable code that is easy to maintain and extend and aligns with our technical strategy and coding standards.

- **Strengthen System Architecture:** Provide leadership in the technical output of your team and ensure technical designs follow appropriate design patterns, are architecturally sound, and adhere to secure coding practices.

- **Ensure System Reliability:** Enable the observability and monitoring of relevant system behavior in the areas of the application owned by your team and use the data collected to propose improvements to application performance and stability.

- **Our Tech Stack:**

- **Application:** Python/Django, Typescript/React

- **Cloud:** AWS

- **Infrastructure & Containers:** AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform

- **Databases:** MySQL

- **CI/CD:** CircleCI

### **WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:**

- **Full Stack Experience:** 5+ years of professional experience in hands-on work across both frontend and backend systems, preferably in a SaaS environment.

- **AI & ML**: Deep understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, vector databases (Databricks/pgVector), and agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, Google ADK, or similar)

- **Python Proficiency:** Strong experience building and maintaining applications using Python and a major web framework (we use Django).

- **React:** Experience building modern web applications with React and TypeScript, including component-based architecture and state management.

- **Agile & Collaborative:** Experience working with agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD principles. You thrive in a team environment.

- **Empathetic & Accountable:** You act with compassion, believe that your team’s success is your success, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

- Maintains a professional and current LinkedIn profile, ensuring it is updated upon joining Procurify to reflect their new role and maintain a consistent company presence.

- **On Target Earnings Range:** **$128,100 - $155,400 CAD**(This range is dependent on experience, with a component of these earnings made up of variable pay and not inclusive of any benefits or equity that might exist in your total compensation package.)
