Role Overview
The Content & Social Media Employer Branding Specialist develops and activates compelling employer brand content across social media, the careers website, internal communications, recruitment campaigns and talent attraction activities. The role works closely with Talent Acquisition and other stakeholders to tell authentic stories about our people, culture and employee experience, while ensuring content is consistent with the Company’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP), brand guidelines and talent attraction strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Content Planning & Creation
- Partner with stakeholders to plan and create engaging employer brand content for recruitment initiatives across social media, the careers website, internal communications, recruitment events and other talent attraction activities.
- • Create content in a range of formats, including employee testimonials, emailers, newsletters, career stories, thought leadership, DEI, wellbeing and culture content, blogs and articles, videos and short-form content, infographics and other visual assets.
- • Conduct interviews with employees and leaders to develop authentic and engaging storytelling content.
- • Draft, edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency and quality.
- • Ensure content aligns with the Company’s EVP, brand guidelines and talent attraction strategy.
Social Media Management
- Manage employer brand social media channels, with a primary focus on LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
- • Create and maintain a social media content calendar, ensuring content is planned and delivered consistently.
- • Schedule, publish and monitor employer brand content and evaluate performance.
- • Respond to comments and engage with audiences where appropriate.
- • Support employee advocacy initiatives designed to increase employer brand reach and engagement.
- • Create content performance reports for social media and review platforms, monitor industry trends, and competitors and recommend new content opportunities.
Recruitment Marketing Support
- Partner with Talent Acquisition teams to support hiring campaigns and priority recruitment initiatives.
- • Create targeted content to attract talent across functions, geographies and experience levels.
- • Support recruitment events, career fairs, graduate programmes and talent community engagement activities.
- • Promote open roles and hiring campaigns through social media and other digital channels.
- • Coordinate with external creative agencies, photographers, videographers and other content partners when required.
- • Monitor employee review platforms such as Glassdoor and create or update company-page content when needed.
Careers Website Content
- Maintain and update careers website content, keeping information accurate, current and relevant.
- • Ensure job-family content, employee stories and employer branding content are refreshed and aligned with the broader employer brand.
- • Support initiatives designed to improve candidate engagement and conversion.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing or talent marketing, ideally within a global organisation.
- • Good understanding of employer branding, Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and recruitment marketing.
- • Strong writing, editing, proofreading and storytelling skills.
- • Strong working knowledge of Canva.
- • Experience using social media and content management/scheduling tools, such as Hootsuite and Mailchimp.
- • Experience managing social media channels and reviewing content performance.
- • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Measures of Success
- • Employer brand content is delivered on time and to a consistently high standard.
- • Social media content is planned, published and monitored through a clear content calendar.
- • Content performance is regularly reviewed and used to identify optimisation and new content opportunities.
- • Recruitment campaigns and talent attraction initiatives receive timely, targeted content support.
- • Careers website and employer brand content remains current, relevant and aligned to the EVP.
- • Candidate and audience engagement improves through relevant, authentic and platform-appropriate content
