Job Title: Robot Application Developer
Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)
Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2
Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 Annually

Job Summary
Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Robot Application Developer to design, develop, and integrate software for autonomous robotic systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in C++, Python, ROS/ROS 2, perception, motion planning, and robotics software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop robotics applications using C++ and Python.
- Design and integrate sensor pipelines (LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, and other sensors).
- Implement perception, localization, SLAM, motion planning, and control algorithms.
- Develop applications using ROS/ROS 2 and integrate with robotic hardware.
- Build and test robotic solutions using simulation tools such as Gazebo or Isaac Sim.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support field testing, and mentor junior engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of robotics software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
- Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS 2.
- Experience with perception, localization, motion planning, or robotic control systems.
- Familiarity with sensor fusion and simulation environments.
- Strong debugging, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Robotics or a related field.
- Experience with autonomous vehicles, drones, or industrial robotics.
- Knowledge of safety-critical software and ML-based perception.
- Open-source contributions to robotics projects.
