This is a remote position.
About Teams Squared:We are a team augmentation company dedicated to connecting exceptional remote talent with global organizations. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson interested in collaborating with Australian architects. The ideal candidate will have basic understanding of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
Key Responsibilities:· Create detailed architectural drawings, plans, and technical documentation using theArchiCAD software.
- Interpret and develop designs based on architectural sketches, concepts, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with Australian building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to refine and adjust drawings as needed.
- Assist in preparing documentation for planning and building approvals.
- Conduct quality checks on drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Manage multiple drafting projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Requirements
- Experience in creating detailed architectural drawings using ArchiCAD.
- Strong knowledge of Australian building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in drafting work.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- A diploma or degree in architectural drafting or a related field is preferred.
