#### Job Description
We are looking for a Resilience Specialist to play a key role in the execution and evolution of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program in Brazil, including Disaster Recovery (DR) processes and support for Crisis Management (CM).
The position will act as a representative of the Global Business Resilience Office (GBRO) and will be part of the 2nd Line of Defense, supporting business areas in identifying risks, assessing impacts, reviewing continuity strategies, and strengthening the organization's recovery capacity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct and support Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessments related to business continuity.
- Review and update Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Crisis Management plans.
- Evaluate resilience, redundancy, backup, and recovery strategies, including cloud environments.
- Identify Single Points of Failure (SPOF) and opportunities for improvement in continuity and recovery solutions.
- Plan, monitor, and validate exercises, simulations, and DR and continuity tests.
- Monitor action plans and support responsible areas in evolving control maturity.
- Participate in policy reviews and global initiatives related to resilience.
- Prepare analyses, reports, and presentations to support management decisions and governance forums.
- Act in a consultative capacity with business and technology areas, contributing to the incorporation of resilience requirements into solutions and processes.
**What your day-to-day will look like**
Your day will be dynamic and involve constant interaction with different business, technology, risk, and global teams.
You will:
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders in Brazil and global GBRO teams, including North America, the UK, EMEA, and LATAM.
- Work alongside technology teams to evaluate recovery plans, resilient architectures, backup solutions, and critical dependencies.
- Conduct BIA meetings and risk assessments with business areas.
- Review continuity and DR plans, assessing whether they are complete, updated, and executable.
- Monitor recovery, failover, tabletop, and continuity tests, evaluating results and opportunities for improvement.
- Support areas in defining RTO and RPO consistent with business impacts and needs.
- Track remediation plans related to resilience and continuity gaps.
- Prepare executive reports, indicators, and presentations for governance forums.
- Support the rollout of global initiatives and contribute to the continuous evolution of BCM and Disaster Recovery maturity in Brazil.
- Act as a technical reference and advisor for resilience topics, helping different areas transform continuity requirements into practical actions.
#### Qualifications
We are looking for someone who combines technical knowledge, a risk-based mindset, and the ability to coordinate with different areas and levels of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Experience in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, including planning, execution, and evaluation of recovery exercises.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery, infrastructure, data storage, networking, and connectivity.
- Experience with resilience and redundancy concepts in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Ability to evaluate architectures and identify Single Points of Failure (SPOF).
- Experience in conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and in defining and evaluating RTO and RPO.
- Knowledge of standards and frameworks related to continuity, security, and resilience, including ISO 22301, ISO 27001, and NIST, as well as familiarity with LGPD and GDPR requirements.
- Knowledge of orchestration and automation tools applied to recovery processes.
- Knowledge of prevention and recovery strategies related to ransomware and cyberattacks.
- Ability to analyze risks, identify control gaps, and track remediation plans.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical topics into clear messages for executive audiences.
- Advanced English, considering frequent interaction with global teams. Spanish will be considered a plus.
- Knowledge of project management and the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Certification in Business Continuity Institute (BCI), Disaster Recovery Institute (DRI), or equivalent is desirable.
We are also looking for a collaborative person with the ability to work autonomously and the skill to influence different stakeholders, combining technical depth with a pragmatic view of risk and business continuity.
