About the Role:
The HR Services Partner I is an entry-level role within HR Shared Services responsible for executing standardized HR transactions and delivering frontline support across the employee and contingent worker lifecycle. This role does not interpret policy, handle non-standard or exception-based cases, or make independent judgments outside of established SOPs. Complex, ambiguous, or sensitive inquiries are escalated to Tier 2.
What You'll Do:
This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness while supporting employee lifecycle transactions and administrative processes. The Partner I operates within established standard operating procedures (SOPs), providing first-level support and serving as a critical execution layer for HR processes and employee experience.
- Coordinate onboarding task tracking and milestone completion, ensuring pre-hire and Day 1 requirements are fulfilled by partnering with Talent Acquisition, IT, and Payroll
- Support onboarding, extensions, and offboarding of contingent workers, maintaining accurate records and validating assignment details in compliance with contractual requirements
- Provide first-level support to employees and managers by responding to inquiries using SOPs and work instruction knowledge base articles, delivering timely, accurate, and professional customer service
- Guide employees and managers on HR processes, systems, and lifecycle events, promoting and educating users on self-service tools and available knowledge resources
- Initiate and support standard HR transactions in Workday in accordance with established procedures
- Initiate and support employee lifecycle transactions and administrative processes, including job changes, employment verifications, and related requests
- Log, manage, and resolve cases in ServiceNow within defined SLAs, ensuring accurate documentation, categorization, timely follow-up, and clear communication with stakeholders
- Follow through on assigned cases to ensure resolution or appropriate handoff to Tier 2, maintaining ownership and accountability throughout the case lifecycle
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness across HR transactions, maintaining compliance with audit, data privacy, and retention requirements
- Identify and escalate complex, non-standard, or policy-related inquiries to Tier 2 for further review and resolution
- Support achievement of team SLAs and performance metrics, including timeliness, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Follow established SOPs and work instructions consistently; flag discrepancies or recurring issues to Tier 2 or Team Lead
- Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–2 years of experience in HR operations, shared services, or administrative support
- Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday and ServiceNow preferred
