**Job Description**
**UW Medicine Enterprise Revenue Cycle** has an outstanding opportunity for an **ERC Program Financial Analyst**
**WORK SCHEDULE**
100% FTE
Weekdays
100% Remote
**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**
The ERC Program Financial Analyst position offers the opportunity to partner with ERC leaders, cross functional teams, and external agencies
Position is responsible for working on issue resolution and projects requiring a broad knowledge of all aspects of Revenue Cycle workflows, and assigned applications and tools, in addition they must be able to understand the impact to other systems that interact within the workflow
**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Focus on both federal and state regulatory requirements to manage key healthcare initiatives such as Financial Assistance, BBPA/NSA, Health Benefit Exchange, Price Transparency, Medicaid/Apple Health, and other applicable regulatory requirements
- Coordinate development and maintenance of regulatory materials including FAQs, tip sheets, change notices, workflows, signage, patient/staff materials, and communications
- Maintain regulatory tracking, project plans, deadlines, documentation, decisions, and action items
- Lead high-impact, cross functional initiatives with varying deliverables to select vendor(s) from development to contracting to implementation
- Manage ERC contract calendars, renewal dates, deliverables, milestones, performance requirements, and supporting documentation
- Manage cross-functional Revenue Cycle projects, operational improvements, and assigned workstreams under the direction of the Director
- Lead development, revision, review, and maintenance of ERC policies, procedures, workflows, job aids, and related documentation
- Conduct research and operational analysis to support recommendations and project decisions
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field
- At least four (5) years in Revenue Cycle positions as an analyst or lead or other similar position where analysis and problem-solving skills have been demonstrated
- An extensive knowledge and understanding of regulatory, policies and vendors
- Proficient in the use of applications, including but not limited to: MS Software – Office Suite with emphasis in Excel, Word, Visio, Project, Access, and PowerPoint plus Adobe Pro
- Equivalent experience may substitute for degree requirement
