About the Role
If you love the details behind the scenes, this Contract Specialist role is where your skills can shine. You’ll help keep programs moving by contracting non-hotel venues, event suppliers, and managing Provider of Incidental Agreements for the Purchasing Team. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys balancing precision, deadlines, and problem-solving in a fast-moving event environment. You’ll play a key part in keeping contracts accurate, compliant, and on track.
You’re Good At
· Negotiating and executing non-hotel venue, event supplier, and POI agreements with accuracy and professionalism
• Managing deadlines, turnaround times, and multiple priorities without losing attention to detail
• Working with confidential information responsibly while following client brand standards and policies
• Using Microsoft Word and Excel, and picking up new technology tools quickly
• Finding creative solutions and collaborating with internal teams to support purchasing needs
You Might Also Have
- At least 1 year of experience in meeting planning, hotel sales, sourcing, purchasing, or contract management
- • Hands-on experience contracting and sourcing event vendors
- • Travel industry or destination knowledge that helps support smarter sourcing decisions
- • Strong accounting skills and comfort helping maintain budgets or collect final invoices
• A CMP certification or college degree

- This role is virtual and operates on Eastern or Central Standard business hours.

Travel requirements for this role are as follows:Less than 25%
We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Contract Specialist is between $55,000 - $65,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
