Who We Are; What We Do; Where We’re Going

Magnet Forensics is a global leader in the development of digital investigative software that acquires, analyzes, and shares evidence from computers, smartphones, tablets, and IoT-related devices. We are continually innovating so our customers can deploy advanced and effective tools to protect their companies, communities, and countries.

Serving thousands of customers globally, our solutions are playing a crucial role in modernizing digital investigations, helping investigators fight crime, protect assets, and guard national security.

With employees based around the world, Magnet Forensics has been expanding our global presence. As a part of Magnet Forensics, you can expect to make a difference in the world, no matter what role you play. You’ll be supported through learning and development, not to mention an incredible team with unbelievable talent and integrity.

If you think you would be the right person to join our team working towards this goal, we would love to hear from you!

Role Overview

Product Operations is the connective tissue of the product organization. We drive key cross-functional initiatives and build the processes, data, and systems that let Product Management, User Experience, Engineering, Product Marketing, Sales Operations, and other functions operate as one motion — from roadmap planning through pricing, market launch, sales readiness and renewal.

As Senior Product Operations Manager, you own the operational backbone of the product organization: the recurring business cadences that keep leadership aligned, the analytics that tell us whether the strategy is working, and the tooling that makes the whole team faster. You will run cross-functional programs, and new initiatives end to end, turn messy inputs into a clear single source of truth, and be trusted to represent the product organization in rooms with senior leaders. This is a high-leverage, high-visibility role for someone who is equally comfortable designing a process, building a model, establishing stakeholder alignment, and driving a decision to close.

Compensation & Benefits

The Compensation range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. Please note that the actual compensation may vary depending on location and job-related factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. If you are applying for this role outside of the primary location and you are selected for an interview, the Talent Acquisition Partner can share more information with you.  If the compensation structure for the role includes an incentive component (i.e. most Sales roles) the range below represents total target compensation (TTC) (base salary + variable).

$100,000 - $150,000 CDN a year

$95,000 - $145,000 USD a year

Salary range (min - max)

Position Type: Current Vacancy

Magnet is proud to offer benefits such as:

- Generous time off policies

- Competitive compensation

- Volunteer opportunities

- Reward and recognition programs

- Employee committees & resource groups

- Healthcare and retirement benefits

Indicators of Success

We’re looking for someone who checks off most, but not all, of the boxes listed in “skills and experiences”.  It’s more important to us to find candidates who can display indicators of success through skills they have developed and experiences they have been a part of, than to find folks who have “been there, done that”.  We want to be part of your development journey, and we’ll learn as much from you as you learn from us.

How We Work

At Magnet Forensics, we take a hybrid-flexible approach to support your productivity and work-life balance. If you’re within a comfortable travel distance to one of our offices, you’ll occasionally join us in person. How often you’ll come in depends on your department and team needs, typically ranging from weekly to monthly. These in-person moments help us build stronger connections, spark new ideas, and celebrate our successes together. Most days, you can choose what works best for you, while staying in tune with your team’s goals.

We’re excited to welcome you to our team and look forward to achieving great things together - both in the office and wherever you work best!

The Most Important Thing

We’re looking for candidates that can provide examples of how they have demonstrated Magnet CODE in their previous experiences:

CARE – We care about each other and our mission to make a difference in the world.

OWN – We are accountable for our results – while never forgetting to act with integrity, empathy, and respect.

DEDICATE – We put our heart and soul into meeting the needs of our customers and helping them serve the people they protect.

EVOLVE – We are constantly innovating and exploring new ways to work together to make an impact with our work.

Here at Magnet Forensics, we are committed to continuous learning and are focused on building a diverse and inclusive workforce. This commitment will be reflected in our hiring processes and embedded in our values and how we treat one another. If you’re interested in this role, but do not meet all of the qualifications listed above, we encourage you to apply anyways.

We are committed to providing an inclusive, accessible recruitment process and work environment. Accommodation is available to all applicants upon request throughout the hiring process. What you'll do
Process design & program management

  • Design, and operationalize cross-functional processes across Product, Sales Operations, User Experience, Product Marketing, and Engineering — including clear ownership models (e.g., RACI) that hold each function accountable for its part of the motion.
  • Run complex, multi-stakeholder programs end to end: define scope, sequence workstreams, manage dependencies and timelines, and drive to decisions rather than status updates.
  • Identify friction and bottlenecks in how the product org operates, and ship durable process improvements rather than one-off fixes.

Executive reporting & business cadences

  • Own the recurring operating rhythm of the product org — QBRs, steering committees, executive updates, and planning reviews — including templates, scheduling, content, and follow-through on action items.
  • Synthesize data and narrative into executive-scannable materials with a clear point of view; make it easy for leaders to make fast, informed decisions.
  • Coordinate annual/strategic planning and OKR cycles: templates, deadlines, roadmap consolidation, and alignment across functions.

Analytics & business insight

  • Build and maintain the metrics that define product and revenue health — ARR, NRR, retention, products-per-account, attach/adoption rates, and license/segment mix — and keep methodology consistent and defensible.
  • Turn ad hoc business questions into repeatable analyses; segment cohorts (e.g., new-logo vs. expansion), size opportunities, and surface the “so what,” not just the numbers.
  • Steward data quality and definitions across the product organization so everyone is working from the same trusted source.

Cross-functional partnership

  • Serve as a trusted operational partner to Product, Sales Operations, User Experience, Product Marketing, and Engineering leaders — translating between functions and keeping initiatives moving.
  • Absorb and stabilize workstreams during transitions and build the documentation and structure that reduce key-person risk.

What you'll bring

  • 5-7 years of experience in product operations, business operations, strategy & operations, program management, or a comparable analytical/operational role — ideally in B2B SaaS.
  • A track record of owning cross-functional programs end to end, with the judgment to drive alignment among senior stakeholders who don't report to you.
  • An understanding of and experience with the product lifecycle and of the Product Management and User Experience functions; and how these roles interface with other functional teams in a high-caliber organization.
  • Strong quantitative fluency: comfort building models and analyses in spreadsheets, working with SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, retention, attach, cohort analysis), and reasoning about data quality and methodology.
  • Working proficiency with SQL and/or BI tools, and comfort querying a data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake) and a CRM (e.g., Salesforce) to answer business questions independently.
  • Excellent written communication — able to produce clear, executive-ready materials and distill complexity into a crisp recommendation.
  • A builder bias: you turn recurring work into durable tools, templates, and processes rather than repeating manual effort.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and shifting priorities, and the ownership instinct to make progress without waiting for perfect direction.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in a similar Product or Business Operations role.
  • Experience administering product/roadmap tools (e.g., Aha!), product analytics (e.g., Amplitude), and issue tracking (e.g., Jira).
  • Hands-on experience adopting or enabling AI tools within a team, including writing enablement documentation.
  • Familiarity with go-to-market motions, pricing/packaging, and SKU or product-catalog structures.
  • Experience supporting or facilitating governance forums (steering committees, planning councils, QBRs).
  • Background in a technical, security, or forensics domain, or another domain with a complex product portfolio.
  • PMP or related Program Management certifications are nice but not a requirement.
