Working in the Office of the Chief Medical Officer and reporting to the VP of Point of Care & Risk Stratification, the Senior Director of Strategy & Operations, Point of Care, will lead day-to-day operations, partnerships, go-to-market efforts, and wraparound support services to maximize the impact of Aledade’s value-based care insights to our partner practices.
The team is looking for a high-output generalist with a strong business analyst toolkit, looking to rapidly take ownership of complex content with high visibility, working across multiple stakeholders. Candidates that thrive managing multiple deadlines on tight timelines and learning content quickly are best positioned to succeed; successful team members in the same function primarily have backgrounds in consulting and generalist healthcare strategy & operations roles.
To start, the role will focus on scaling the impact of our risk adjustment and risk stratification insights and programs, to support appropriate care delivery and financial sustainability for our partner practices. Over time, the role and their team is likely to expand their focus to encompass a border set of insights.
At the end of their first year, a successful leader in the role will own end-to-end accountability for 1) proactive identification, development, and execution of Aledade field / market teams, practice, and end user go-to-market efforts for all Risk Stratification program- and product-related efforts, 2) strategic relationship building and partnership with Aledade’s payer partners to advance insight delivery and impact, 3) strategic relationship building and partnership with leaders at Aledade’s multi-specialty, enterprise, FQHC, and other large strategic practices on insight delivery and risk stratification-related topics, and 4) identification, evaluation, contracting, and cross-functional execution of net new vendor and external partnerships that support insight delivery and impact on risk stratification.
Additionally, this role will 1) provide direction and strategic expertise to junior team members owning individual initiatives, including incentive and adoption programs, educational efforts, hotspotting, monitoring, and alerting development, practice and user-level prioritization and triage, and 2) coordinate with cross-functional product, analytics, technology, performance, care programs, and other senior leaders across Aledade to advance collaborative insight delivery and risk stratification efforts.
The role is expected to start as a senior individual contributor, but is expected to grow into a people manager in the near term.

Primary Duties:
- Own strategy and execution for field, practice, and end user go-to-market efforts for all Risk Stratification program- and product-related efforts, with a focus on maximizing the scale and impact of our insight delivery to partner practices
- Own partnerships with strategic practice partner leadership, payer partners, and vendors to advance insight delivery and Risk Stratification efforts
- Direct and support other Transformation team members’ ideation and execution of related strategic initiatives, often by leading cross-functional coordination across Aledade and external partners and guiding new and maturing program design, materials development, reporting and monitoring, prioritization, and value estimation
- Coordinate with cross-functional product, analytics, technology, performance, care programs, and other senior leaders across Aledade to advance collaborative risk stratification efforts
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Economics, Business, Healthcare, or a related field
- 12+ years of progressive professional experience, or 7+ years progressive professional experience with a Master’s Degree, strongly preferred
- 6+ years of experience in healthcare
- 2+ years of experience in value-based care
Preferred knowledge, skills, and/or abilities:
- Advanced exploration of emerging AI tools, with additional preference given to individuals that have demonstrated ability building, scaling, and/or teaching AI tooling to broader teams
- Expert Excel skills required, including the ability to work with large, complex, & often incomplete data sets; conduct one-off complex analyses quickly; and utilize Index / Match, XLOOKUP, FILTER, and other advanced formulas
- Advanced PPT skills required, including storyboarding skills, ability to translate complex analyses and concepts into engaging slides, and ability to draft executive-level materials with limited direction
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships and work with individuals at all levels of the organization, tailoring communication style as appropriate based on audience
- Excellent project management skills, including proven track record leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in health care operations settings
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills
- Strong “business analyst” toolkit, including abilities to independently prioritize, solve problems via hypothesis-driven analytical methods, manage across multiple responsibilities and projects, execute with attention to detail, and overcome ambiguity
- Poise, confidence, and maturity interacting with key stakeholders, including senior leaders
- Commitment to confidentiality and discretion in appropriately handling sensitive information is required
