About the role
We are looking for a Data Platform Product Manager who combines product thinking with a strong understanding of cloud technologies, FinOps and Data Platform operations. In this role, you will drive the evolution of a modern data platform and enable scalable, secure and cost-efficient data capabilities across the organization.
What you'll do
· Define and execute the technical roadmap for the data platform.
· Drive the development of cloud-based data environments across Azure, Databricks and related technologies.
· Ensure platform scalability, reliability, security and operational excellence.
· Lead FinOps initiatives, cloud cost optimization and budgeting processes.
· Implement and improve DevOps/DataOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code standards.
· Manage relationships with technology vendors and coordinate procurement activities.
· Oversee contracts, SLAs, licensing, purchase orders and invoice validation processes.
· Collaborate closely with Data, AI, Engineering, Finance and Business stakeholders.
What we're looking for
· 3+ years of experience managing a data platform or technical product.
· Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Services or similar cloud data ecosystems.
· Practical knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
· Experience with DevOps/DataOps practices, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
· Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
· Experience working with technology vendors, contracts and procurement processes.
· Understanding of budgeting, purchase orders and financial governance processes.
· English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
Nice to have
· Experience with Data Mesh, Data Governance or Lakehouse architecture.
· Azure, FinOps or Product Management certifications.
· Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, dbt or Atlan.
· Familiarity with GDPR, AI Act and modern data governance standards.
