Opportunity at a Glance
The Manager, Academic Success reports to a Director or Executive Director and works closely with the academic and administrative staffs in the relevant Centers, Schools or College, to address a variety of academic, faculty, and student issues.

Responsibilities
· Review, develop, and administer procedures, policies, requirements, and infrastructure support utilized in relevant units for supporting academic issues, faculty, and students.
· Collaborate with associate directors (ADs) assigned to other colleges to formulate consistent university-wide approaches to various academic issues.
· Monitor college-level adherence to university policies pertaining to specified issues.
· Gather and analyze data on student and faculty academic activities in assigned college and collaborate with fellow ADs to prepare annual report on university academic performance.
· Report to the relevant Director on assigned operations within the unit in which he/she serves and ensure the use of the best practices and standardized procedures within that unit.
· Travel to relevant university meetings. Service on university and school committees and committees for other initiatives as needed.
· Performs other duties as assigned
· Complies with all policies and standards

• Master's Degree Required

• PhD Earned doctorate in the relevant discipline and area, preferred.

• 5 years experience in higher education

• 3 years project management experience

• 3 years experience in distant learning Preferred

• Commitment to advocating for the learning and development needs of students earning their degrees in a distance learning environment.

• Excellent leadership, communication, team participation, team building, and human relation skills.

• Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds in a collaborative manner.

• Ability to creatively solve problems.

• Ability to write effectively in both business and academic styles.

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $100,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
