Job Description: Candidate Resourcer (UK Market – Life Sciences)
Job Overview
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Candidate Resourcer to support our UK Life Sciences recruitment efforts. This role is suited to a South African-based recruiter with experience sourcing across the UK market within pharma, biotech, and related sectors. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging high-calibre candidates, supporting delivery teams, and ensuring a seamless recruitment experience aligned with UK market expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and attract top talent across the UK life sciences sector, including pharma, biotech, and clinical research organisations.
- Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced Boolean search strategies to identify and engage both active and passive candidates.
- Conduct structured screening calls to evaluate candidate suitability, motivations, and alignment with client briefs.
- Collaborate with Sales Consultants to understand UK-specific client requirements and hiring trends.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines across key verticals and skill sets.
- Keep informed of UK market trends, salary benchmarks, and regulatory considerations.
- Meet and exceed KPIs related to sourcing activity, candidate engagement, and delivery output.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within Bullhorn or equivalent ATS systems.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience recruiting for the UK market (remote from South Africa).
- Demonstrated success as a candidate-focused resourcer (delivery role only).
- Experience within Life Sciences / Pharma / Biotech is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in LinkedIn sourcing and Boolean search methodologies.
- Experience using Bullhorn or similar ATS platforms.
- Solid understanding of UK hiring practices, candidate expectations, and compliance considerations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage UK-based candidates effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent searches.
