team.blue's brands are a mix of traditional hosting businesses that offer services from domain names, email, shared hosting, e-commerce, and server hosting solutions and, as specialist SaaS providers, adjacent products such as compliance, marketing tools, and team collaboration products. This broad product offering makes it a one-stop partner for online businesses and entrepreneurs across Europe.
What will you do?
You'll play an active role in optimising our European cloud and hosting platform.
Behind the scenes, several teams work together to deliver the services our customers rely on. One of these is our Platforms team, made up of around 20 colleagues across development, infrastructure and operations. This team already manages Belgium's largest cloud and hosting infrastructure. Over the coming years, the platform will be rolled out further across our Europeanteam.bluegroup, and you'll have the opportunity to contribute to that growth.
- As a PHP Developer, you'll work on the platform that powers our cloud and hosting infrastructure, contributing to an extensive product roadmap.
- Your main focus will be backend PHP development, building new features.
- You'll contribute to our microservices architecture and help build and maintain our internal APIs, which are central to information exchange across our European platform.
- You'll have plenty of ownership and a say in technical decisions. Alongside development, you'll be involved in analysis, architecture and more.
- Most of the work you'll do has a direct link to our underlying infrastructure in a Linux hosting environment. We'll also build automations for services such as Managed WordPress and WooCommerce.
- You'll join our Platforms PHP development team of around five colleagues, where you'll have the freedom to share your ideas, express your opinions and help shape the direction of our solutions.

- Kubernetes and Docker
- Ansible (AWX), Git and GitLab
- Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, etc.)
- Linux, operating systems, servers, storage and other infrastructure technologies
You don't need experience with every technology listed above. What matters most is that you're eager to learn and enjoy getting to know our technology stack and products in depth.
Who are you?
- You have at least 3 years of experience as a PHP Developer.
- You have extensive working experience with the Symfony framework.
- You're keen to deepen your knowledge of infrastructure and learn more about systems, infrastructure and related technologies.
- You enjoy thinking about new products and services we can build on top of our infrastructure layer.
- You can identify recurring patterns in issues and turn them into automated solutions.
- You're interested in working in an international European environment and sharing your knowledge of our platforms across the group.
- You take ownership, work proactively and collaborate effectively with your colleagues.
- You have a strong analytical mindset and communicate clearly and constructively.
- You're fluent in English.
