WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN OUR TEAM
You'll own the full marketplace onboarding experience for Smartcat's customers — from pre-sales through steady-state operations — safeguarding our quality and on-time delivery commitments across a global network of vendors and freelancers. This is a high-ownership operational role where you'll directly shape how AI-powered automation and human suppliers work together at scale.
MISSION
Own the full marketplace onboarding experience and ensure successful marketplace adoption across the entire customer lifecycle — from pre-sales to steady-state operations — reducing operational risk and enabling efficient, scalable multilingual content delivery while safeguarding Smartcat's service-level commitments for quality and on-time delivery.
OUTCOMES

• Deliver full onboarding and continuous improvement coverage for new and existing customers using the Smartcat Marketplace

• Leverage Smartcat's automation technologies to reach 90% workflow automation across supported accounts

• Ensure 100% SLA compliance for quality and on-time delivery, stepping in when needed

• Build and maintain trusted vendor teams, enabling them with Smartcat AI tools and best practices

• Configure and automate workflow steps, including freelancer assignment, vendor management, and workspace settings

• Set up and manage language assets (TMs, glossaries, style guides) and QA automation, intervening to protect SLAs when risk emerges

HOW YOU'LL RAMP
By Day 30:

• Learn Smartcat's marketplace model, automation technologies, and supplier ecosystem

• Shadow onboarding and workflow setup for existing customers, including workflow configuration and vendor management

• Meet your GTM Account, CX, Product, and Engineering partners and get oriented in current marketplace accounts

By Day 60:

• Own onboarding and workflow setup independently for at least one new or existing customer account

• Be actively managing supplier selection and vendor pools, using Smartcat AI supplemented by manual sourcing where needed

• Set up and manage language assets and QA automation for at least one account

By Day 90:

• Be delivering on 90% workflow automation and 100% SLA compliance across your supported accounts

• Have led issue resolution or escalation management on at least one at-risk delivery

• Be submitting actionable product feedback and workflow insights that influence roadmap priorities

WHAT YOU'VE ACCOMPLISHED

• 5+ years of experience in project management, vendor management, supply chain management, or operations

• Experience with marketplace environments or large vendor/freelancer pools is a strong plus

• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus

• A proven ability to scope projects, allocate resources, manage risk, and track delivery performance

• A good understanding of technical concepts related to translation technologies, with the ability to leverage AI tools to streamline processes

• A proven ability to deliver support, training, and adoption initiatives

• An entrepreneurial mindset with curiosity, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative approach

• Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to different audiences

• High attention to detail and strong customer empathy

• Integrity and full commitment

• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

• Comfort working with remote, multicultural teams

• Openness to constructive feedback and the opinions and ideas of others

• Fluent English (additional languages desirable)
