Position Summary
NV5 is a provider of engineering and consulting services to public and private sector clients, delivering solutions through six business verticals: Testing, Inspection & Consulting; Infrastructure; Utility Services; Environmental Health Sciences; Buildings & Program Management; and Geospatial Technology. With offices nationwide and abroad, NV5 helps clients plan, design, build, test, certify, and operate projects that improve the communities where we live and work.

Responsibilities
As a Zoning Researcher, you will:
- Request and retrieve applicable property documents from various municipalities across thenation via phone calls, internet, etc.
- Maintain client status logs and work with project database
- Keep files organized and track municipality contact information
- General, related duties as assigned

Requirements
- Proficient in oral and written English language, reasonable spelling/grammar
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Comfortable with inbound/outbound phone calls (pick up the phone and talk to a local government official in any US or Canadian municipality)
- Aptitude to understand policies/procedures/protocols relating to business and to willingness tomaintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and perform in a team setting
- Ability to be organized and efficient with prioritization and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to pass a background check & drug screening prior to employment
- Completion of High School Diploma/GED
- Two years office/clerical experience and stable work history preferred
- Must have access to appropriate childcare for any young children
- Must have high-speed internet connection in order to work from home (computer equipment isprovided)
- Willingness to work your full scheduled shift every weekday, aside from illness, emergencies andscheduled absences
Industry experience not required; we have a specialized, ground-up training program. Environment is supportive, communicative and team-oriented.

Compensation: Starting compensation of $31,200 annually with increase to $34,320 after 6 months*.
