About MotionArt
MotionArt is a YouTube growth and production agency helping creators develop their channels. We're looking for a skilled YouTube Video Editor to transform raw footage into engaging English-language videos that keep viewers watching.
Work Format
- Fully remote with flexible working hours.
- Typically one video per week per channel.
- Deadlines are aligned with each channel's publishing schedule.
Compensation
Approximately $180 USD per video. Final rates depend on the project's scope, complexity, and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Edit talking-head videos, vlogs, and podcasts based on creative briefs and references.
- Select appropriate music and sound effects, perform basic audio processing and color correction.
- Add subtitles, graphics, and animations when required.
- Implement agreed revisions and deliver completed videos on time.
- Maintain consistent editing quality and style across projects.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro (proficiency in one is sufficient).
- A portfolio demonstrating video editing skills.
- Sufficient English proficiency to understand footage, briefs, and feedback.
- Ability to follow references, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Access to ChatGPT or a similar AI tool and the ability to use it effectively.
- Basic Adobe After Effects skills are a plus.
