About MotionArt
MotionArt is a YouTube growth and production agency helping creators develop and scale their channels. We're looking for a YouTube Scriptwriter to turn provided topics and content outlines into engaging English-language scripts that capture viewers' attention and keep them watching.
Work Format
- Fully remote with flexible working hours and fixed deadlines.
- Typically one script per week per channel.
- Long-term collaboration with opportunities for additional projects.
Compensation
Approximately $40 USD per script. Final rates depend on the project's scope, length, complexity, and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Write engaging YouTube scripts based on provided topics and content outlines.
- Refine video structure, hooks, and introductions to improve audience retention.
- Research topics, fact-check information, and include links to reliable sources.
- Prepare complete, ready-to-read scripts or, for selected assignments, structured talking-point outlines.
- Adapt writing style, tone, and storytelling to each channel's format and target audience.
- Implement agreed revisions and deliver scripts on time.
Storyboards and video editing materials are not required.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience writing YouTube video scripts.
- A portfolio with writing samples and a clear explanation of your contribution to each project.
- Strong understanding of video structure, storytelling, hooks, and audience retention techniques.
- Ability to write clearly, conduct research, verify facts, and incorporate feedback.
- English proficiency at B1 level or higher, with the ability to write scripts in English.
- Experience using ChatGPT or similar AI tools effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
