**Phillips 66 & YOU - Together we can fuel the future**

The **Value Chain Integration Advisor III** supports the development and execution of integrated strategies, economic evaluations, and cross-functional initiatives that improve value across Phillips 66’s value chain. The role connects market, commercial, operational, capital, and financial perspectives to help identify, evaluate, prioritize, and advance opportunities across Refining, Midstream, Marketing, Commercial, and other business areas.

This position is an analytical and coordination-focused role with meaningful ownership. The Advisor is expected to build and maintain decision-grade economic models, track capital budgets and project progress, coordinate inputs and deliverables across stakeholders, and translate complex information into clear recommendations for leadership. The role operates primarily across a 6-month-to-5-year planning horizon and supports integrated strategies at the regional, asset-system, and commodity levels.

**What You’ll Do**

- Build, maintain, and improve economic models for integration opportunities, capital projects, commercial arrangements, and operating or supply-chain alternatives.
- Evaluate economics using consistent assumptions for capital, operating costs, margin, cash flow, returns, payback, risk, and strategic value.
- Develop scenario, sensitivity, and downside analyses showing how market conditions, operating constraints, timing, volumes, costs, and other drivers affect value.
- Translate analyses into concise recommendations and decision materials; ensure inputs, assumptions, sources, calculations, and outputs are accurate and documented.
- Partner with Commercial Market Analysis, the Chief Economist’s Office, Finance, Strategy, and business-unit experts to incorporate market and financial perspectives.
- Own recurring tracking and reporting of VCO Integration capital opportunities and approved projects, including budget, forecast, commitments, spend, timing, scope, expected value, and milestones.
- Maintain a consolidated capital-project funnel and support prioritization based on returns, strategic alignment, integration value, risk reduction, constraint removal, margin capture, cost avoidance, and future optionality.
- Monitor actual and forecast performance against approved budgets; identify variances, emerging issues, and required actions; and escalate material changes promptly.
- Coordinate capital-budget inputs, updates, and documentation with project sponsors, Finance, Capital Projects, and business-unit teams; support stage-gate reviews and governance with economic updates, decision points, status summaries, and recommendations.
- Track benefits realization and post-approval changes through regular project look-backs so the portfolio remains aligned with expected value and enterprise priorities.
- Support and help lead the development, refresh, and implementation of regional, asset-system, and commodity integrated strategies.
- Move analysis beyond an individual-asset viewpoint to evaluate opportunities and tradeoffs across connected assets, regions, products, and business segments while assessing industry, competitor, regulatory, supply-and-demand, logistics, and other external drivers.
- Develop strategy narratives, supporting analyses, and presentation materials; monitor implementation and track initiatives that convert recommendations into executable actions.
- Serve as the central point of coordination for assigned initiatives, engaging stakeholders and ensuring inputs, analyses, decisions, and deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Maintain action logs, issue and risk registers, decision records, project trackers, and recurring status reports; organize and facilitate working sessions, reviews, discussions, and alignment meetings.
- Identify gaps, conflicting assumptions, unresolved interfaces, and stalled actions; drive resolution or escalate decisions; and coordinate with business-unit teams through development, approvals, execution, commissioning, and transition to operations.
- Follow through on commitments and maintain accountability for the quality, timeliness, and completeness of assigned work products.
- Prepare concise updates and executive-ready presentations, dashboards, briefing materials, and recommendations; establish reliable reporting and source data, track performance measures, capture lessons learned, and improve tools, processes, and governance.

**What You’ll Bring - Required**

- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 3 or more years of experience in commercial, financial, strategy, analytics, project, or value-chain roles
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Strong quantitative, statistical, financial, and analytical problem-solving skills
- Expert or greater proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to organize, analyze, and present complex information effectively
- Experience coordinating multiple workstreams, stakeholders, deadlines, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
