Main Focus & KeyResponsibilities
- LegalStrategy & Risk Management: Formulate and execute theoverarching legal strategy for our international holding company toalign with long-term commercial goals. Proactively identify, assess,and mitigate complex legal risks across corporate activities,contracts, intellectual property, employment, and litigation.
- GlobalCompliance & Governance: Ensure strict compliance with alllocal and international regulations, statutory acts, and corporategovernance standards across every operational jurisdiction.Continuously monitor changes in global legislation and rapidly adaptinternal policies.
- IntellectualProperty Protection: Lead comprehensive strategies to safeguardthe company's extensive intellectual property rights, includingpatents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Swiftly detectand resolve potential IP infringements worldwide.
- CorporateExpansion: Strategically structure and oversee the launch andregistration of new corporate entities globally, minimizingmulti-jurisdictional liabilities.
- Financial& Regulatory Alignment: Supervise the legal preparation andreview of corporate financial statements. Coordinate cross-borderexternal audits and collaborate tightly with internal compliancesquads to guarantee total transparency.
What We Expect from You
- ProvenExecutive Track Record: 5+ years of experience as a Head ofLegal, VP of Legal, or General Counsel within a dynamic, fast-pacedinternational enterprise.
- LinguisticExcellence: English at a professional C1/C2 level isrequired. Fluency/bilingual proficiency in the Russian languageis highly preferred to ensure fluent communication across ourdistributed leadership team.
- Russian: Native (crucial for internal communication or specific market coverage);
- LegalMastery: Authoritative knowledge across multi-jurisdictionalcorporate law, international commercial contracts, global laborstandards, and digital intellectual property regulations.
- Litigation& Dispute Resolution: Deep experience managing complexcommercial legal disputes, handling litigation frameworks, andsuccessfully directing external local counsels globally.
- Tech& Systems Savvy: High aptitude for utilizing modernfinancial software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, andlegal tech/data analytics tools to streamline operations.
