As a Cloud Operations Architect, You Will Be Responsible For:

• Having skills in aligning customer needs with cloud solutions and infrastructure management.

• Solving complex cloud and compute issues proactively for our customers on Akamai Connected cloud.

• Developing operational support cadences and workflows as part of the Global Cloud Operations team

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve challenges, identify deficiencies and assess the stability of customer cloud workflows

• Guiding and mentoring the front-line team with technical guidance and ensuring customers receive top-quality resolution

• Contributing to the growth of cloud and compute expertise through training, tech talks, knowledge base articles

Do what you love
To Be Successful in This Role You Will:

• Have 4+ years of experiencesupporting and orchestrating the public cloud, serverless platforms, microservices and a degree in CS or related field

• Have good understanding of cloud concepts with problem solving skills in VMs, Kubernetes, Networking, Security, Storage, and Databases.

• Have expertise in networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, CDN, and load balancing.

• Have knowledge of Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and observability.

• Have familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD ,Terraform, Ansible,Chef and Puppet.

• Possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills to effectively work in a fast-paced, customer facing role.
