We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Lead for our AFS Operations in Bengaluru, India. As a Floor Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily production activities, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards in our advanced manufacturing facility.
· Lead and manage a team of production operators, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback
· Coordinate daily production activities to meet targets and deadlines while maintaining quality standards
· Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure product consistency and customer satisfaction
· Collaborate with other departments to optimize production schedules and workflow
· Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the production area
· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
· Train and develop team members on new processes, equipment, and safety procedures
· Maintain accurate production records and generate reports for management review
· Contribute to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of leading teams and improving operational efficiency
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in manufacturing software and tools
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma principles (Lean Six Sigma certification preferred)
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements in a production environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required
- Willingness to relocate to or currently reside in Bengaluru, India
