**About the role**
We’re looking for an experienced Backend Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience to help drive and evolve our product. Strong hands-on experience with Go (Golang) is a must for this role. Our technology is new and rapidly evolving, so you’ll be an early contributor with meaningful impact on the architecture while solving complex technical challenges at scale.
**What you’ll do**
- You'll design, extend and optimize a large-scale, highly scalable, and fault-tolerant system that handles large graph datasets at enterprise scale. Our product is processing billions of events from hundreds of thousands of endpoints in real-time with sub-second latency requirements
- You'll architect and implement Security products to protect customers data
- You'll be solving real-world scaling problems that require thorough performance analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Go (Golang) is required. You have built and shipped production backend services using Go.
- You get to work with a modern and constantly evolving microservices-based software stack which includes Go, Kubernetes, BigTable, BigQuery, Spanner, Redis, Docker, Etcd
- You'll write secure-by-design hardened software that must withstand real-world attacks, while processing untrusted data and communicating with hundreds of thousands of endpoints over the internet
**Who you are**
- You have a strong track record in building backends that are actively used at scale. You contributed significantly to and extended their architecture.
- You have experience developing large applications in Go.
- You used databases at a very large scale. Knowledge of the GCP services is a plus
- You have experience with profiling and optimizing the distributed code that uses large databases and streaming platforms.
- If you have experience in building connectors that integrate at API level with SaaS applications commonly used in the enterprises let us know
- You have hands-on experience with microservices and Kubernetes
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and you can be available to frequently communicate with distributed teams in Europe and US
- You thrive in fast paced environments tackling ambiguous challenges and you enjoying shipping with velocity
- You have a customer centric mindset and enjoy direct feedback from customers
- You are based in Bangalore for the India location (Remote for EU based talent)
